The breaking the rules assignment was a very interesting task to me, i decided to approach it with the question " why? ". you know? why did you take it like this, why is it off centred?, why is the persons head cut off?, why would you put a fence in focus. I want these pictures to make people think, think about what the photographer is trying to make them think about.

In my first picture, i broke the rules by tilting my camera, a strange angle that ended up capturing two stories behind it. Tourists, exploring our city that we know so well, wanting too see, learn, and experience it, something that is very wonderful and enjoyable for them, and too us, a city that we know so well, that we take for granted so easily, we think "who would ever want to explore this area? its so plain and meaningless.

For the next two shots , I played with shooting out of focus, and embracing negative spaces, embracing the little things in life, in a normal photograph, the person would be the main attraction of a picture, i decided to bring out the appeal of grass and a fence, two objects would normally be the back ground of a normal picture would come from those two things, but without them, our pictures would be dull and boring, so that is why i decided to bring them out as the star.
