My second alternative processes creation was a silk screen picture. This picture was taken in San Diego, California in May 2017. Not only is it an intricate picture of someone doing some "cool cheerleading tricks" but behind it all, it has a lot of sentimental value to me. For those who didn't know, In the summer of 2016, I packed my stuff and moved my life across the country for the year to compete on one of the most successful and competitive cheerleading teams in the world. This picture was taken near the end of my journey, it represents my whole story, from my struggles and hardships, to the genuine happiness and success, the whole year was one giant life lesson full of blood, sweat, and tears. I came home from it all as a new person, I met some of greatest people in the world who are still my family too this day. It made me who i am, and as deep and cheesy as it all sounds, it truly was the best decision i've ever made. That is why this picture was a great way to capture it all, and a good choice for the picture on my silk screen. life is about learning, growing, experiences, finding your people, and thats exactly what this picture represents.
